If This Is You, Read This

A man signs up for the info evening. He means it when he registers. Something in him wants this.

Then the evening comes, and he doesn't log on.

We see this more than you'd think. Men register, fully intending to show up, and then something quieter takes over, and they stay away. Not because they changed their mind. Because resistance showed up first.

After twelve-plus years running these groups, here's what we've noticed. The resistance is almost never about the group itself. It's about being seen. For a lot of men, it's also about who's in the room. Many of us learned early that other men weren't safe, that trust got broken by men, sometimes by the men who were supposed to protect us. Wanting connection and being wary of the very people who could offer it, both at once, that's not a contradiction. That's just what it can look like to have been hurt by men before.

Every man who walks into one of our circles is, in some way, trying to rewrite that story. Not by pretending the old one didn't happen, but by finding out what it's like to be met by other men differently this time.

That's part of why the info evening is online and free. It's not a commitment. It's not even a circle yet. It's a chance to watch, to hear how we talk, to ask a question if he wants to, and to leave the moment it's over if that's what he needs. No one calls afterward asking why he didn't sign up. He can just watch, and go.

Every man in our circles felt this same resistance before he ever showed up. Every one of them.

If you registered and didn't make it, you're welcome at the next one. No explanation needed.
