Most of my life has been spent listening to people.

Listening for what’s said.

Listening for what isn’t.

Listening for the ways people lose themselves while trying to belong, help, or keep the peace.

Much of my work is about gently turning that attention inward; listening to ourselves.

My style is relational and grounded.  I don’t rush people or push for answers. I listen carefully, reflect honestly, and help people find truth in their lived experience, body, and notice their energy.

While living on Vancouver Island and driving through downtown Duncan in 2013, I notice a banner on a building, "Support for men". This was the catalyst for attending my first men's group. It was a scary step to take. I didn't trust men and certainly didn't feel safe sharing with others. What I experienced and witnessed called me back to that group week after week.

After moving from Duncan to Squamish in 2014 I started and facilitated a men's group until 2021.  Then a 2021 move to the Okanagan led to regular attendance and occasional facilitation of two men's groups in that area.

I relocated back to Vancouver Island in early 2025, Nanaimo this time, and promptly started a men's group.

I’ve actively been on a personal growth path for over two decades and trained as a life coach in 2006.  My work is trauma-informed and shaped by years of facilitating groups, holding space, and supporting individuals through change.  I draw from lived experience, deep listening, and practical tools that support clearer decisions, healthier use of our energy, and more honest relationships.

My intention is to create a space where people can slow down and come back into optimal relationship with themselves.  If that's the support you’re looking for, welcome.

My path has always been defined by a dual pursuit: mastering the mechanics of success and understanding the depth of the human experience. I bridge the gap between high-performance strategy and authentic brotherhood, knowing firsthand the weight men carry. The pressure to provide, to succeed, and to lead, often while feeling like they have to do it all alone.

For over 30 years, I have been a student and practitioner of men’s work. That journey began in 1993 with the Sterling Men’s Institute, which planted the seeds for a life centered on accountability and integrity. In 2013, I deepened my commitment to peak performance through Tony Robbins’ Business Mastery, refining a mindset of strategic growth that I now bring to the circle.

Professionally, my background is rooted in leadership and business development. I have spent years building teams and scaling operations, experiences that taught me that a man's professional output is only as strong as his internal foundation. More recently, my involvement with the InBloom Summit has allowed me to integrate modern relational tools into my facilitation, ensuring that the work we do at Circle of Men is as compassionate as it is direct. I am wired to investigate, test, and share what actually works. I don't believe in abstract theories; I believe in practical, high-performance language that men can use to improve their relationships and their sense of self.

Based in Nanaimo, I am a father and am currently walking my own path of growth and commitment, happily engaged and looking forward to getting married this October. I’m here to help you build the internal strength required to lead a life of purpose.
